 A.C.K. Guest House. Formerly known as CMS Guest House, it initially served as accommodation for missionaries from upcountry stations. The original house, owned by Wilbughby Carey, occupied the present site of the Guest House. In order to create the current establishment, Carey’s old ‘mabati’ had to be demolished. In 1970, after the inauguration of the Province, the house transitioned from C.M.S. to C.P.K. And finally, in February 1998, the Church officially adopted the name Anglican Church of Kenya (A.C.K.). Since its inception in December 1945, A.C.K. Guest House has opened its doors to guests from all corners of the world. Over the years, many visitors have become close friends, and numerous guests choose to return time and again. At A.C.K. Guest House, we offer more than just comfortable rooms with crisp sheets and cozy beds. Our establishment embodies the stylish yet casual lifestyle that characterizes the city.
