Changing Lives and Giving Hope to the Vulnerable Communities!

Founded in 2010 as a community-based organization, AHI-Uganda has been making a significant impact on the lives of people in the Naalya region and beyond. The organization started as a group of young people led by Luganda Isaac, and through their hard work and dedication, it has transformed into a non-governmental organization that is making a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable members of society.AHI-Uganda’s focus areas include HIV/AIDS prevention and care, abstinence, character change, schools outreaches, and media talk shows. These initiatives have helped to raise awareness about the importance of safe sex practices, as well as empower young people to make responsible choices about their health.In addition to its work in HIV/AIDS prevention, AHI-Uganda is also dedicated to providing financial development training for members of poor communities like Kasenyi Banda Slum. The organization has also been actively involved in outreach programs to prisons, refugee camps, and homeless individuals, providing them with hope and encouragement.One of the most inspiring aspects of AHI-Uganda’s work is its commitment to visiting schools and introducing ACC clubs (Abstinence Character Change Clubs) to students. These clubs provide young people with a supportive environment to learn about healthy behaviors and make positive choices for their future.AHI-Uganda is a shining example of the positive impact that can be made when people come together to make a difference. Through their tireless efforts, they are transforming communities and changing lives.
