Balibaseka Secondary School is a shining example of what can be achieved when visionary leadership and tireless dedication combine to create an educational institution. Established in 2005 with just seven students and teachers, the school has since grown to become one of the most respected institutions of learning in Uganda.The school’s founder, Prof. Gilbert Balibaseka Bukenya, was then the Vice President of Uganda and area member of parliament Of Busiro North constituency. He worked tirelessly to secure donations from NGOs like Fields of Life and Arab Foundation to build the first structures of the Secondary School. His vision was to create a school that would provide quality education to students from all backgrounds and help them reach their full potential.Over the years, the school has been blessed with strong leadership, with three chairpersons of the Board of Governors and three P.T.A chairpersons who have each contributed to its success. The current B.O.G Chairperson, Mr. Tebandeke John Bosco, continues to build on the legacy of his predecessors and ensure that the school remains at the forefront of educational excellence.Balibaseka Secondary School’s commitment to academic excellence is reflected in its impressive track record. Its graduates have gone on to excel in various fields, both locally and internationally. The school’s academic programs are comprehensive, and the teaching staff is highly qualified and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential.In conclusion, Balibaseka Secondary School is a testament to what can be achieved with visionary leadership and a commitment to excellence in education.
