Gulu University (GU)

Gulu University (GU) is a remarkable institution in Uganda’s Northern Region. Founded in 2001, it has since become one of the country’s leading public universities, providing world-class education to its students. In 2010, during the fifth annual graduation ceremony, GU awarded degrees to 1,050 graduates, including 40 medical doctors, marking a significant milestone in the university’s journey.GU’s commitment to providing quality education has not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by its former constituent college in Lira.
