Hormisdallen School has been providing quality education to children in Uganda and the East African region for over three decades. Founded in 1986 by Mr. Mukalazi Kizito, the school began with just 9 pupils and 3 teachers with the aim of providing quality education that is committed to meeting the evolving challenges of the day. Located in the central division of Kampala District, off Mawanda road Kamwokya Parish, Hormisdallen School is a privately owned mixed day and boarding Nursery and Primary school that is licensed and registered by the Ministry of Education and Sports of the government of Uganda. The school follows the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) Curriculum, and the main subjects taught include English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. With a nursery section that provides pupils with a foundation in Math Concepts, General Knowledge, Handwriting, Drawing, Singing, Confidence, Independency, Motor control, co-operation, English Writing & English Reading, Hormisdallen School continues to provide quality education up to Primary Two. The school also boasts a variety of clubs and activities including Scouts & Guides, Debating, Writers, Swimming, Music, Dance & Drama, and a football academy. One of the main reasons for Hormisdallen School’s rapid improvement over the past few years is the quality of its staff. The school recruits its staff through a highly rigorous process to ensure that they are of the standard expected at Hormisdallen. The staff is warm, friendly, and committed to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for every child at the school. Hormisdallen School also provides transport services that prioritize the safe passage of each child to and from school. The school has its own fleet of outsourced school buses that are designed to meet the highest standards and are manned by trained drivers and personnel who are sensitized to the needs of small children. Additionally, all staff on the bus are well trained in first aid and emergency management to ensure the implementation of safety norms. The school offers transport services on a batch and division basis, and prospective students are encouraged to enquire with the transport department before finalizing their admission process.
