Human Rights Awareness and Promotion Forum (HRAPF) is a non-partisan, non-governmental organization that is dedicated to promoting and protecting the human rights of marginalized persons and Most at Risk Populations in Uganda.HRAPF’s work is focused on bridging the gap between these communities and justice through enhanced access to justice, research and advocacy, legal and human rights awareness, capacity enhancement, and strategic partnerships.One of HRAPF’s primary objectives is to undertake research and legal advocacy for the rights of marginalized persons and Most at Risk Populations groups. This is crucial, as these communities often face discrimination and violence from the police and the wider community.Through its research and advocacy efforts, HRAPF seeks to raise awareness of these issues and advocate for policy changes that protect the rights of these vulnerable groups.HRAPF also seeks to enhance the capacity of marginalized groups, Most at Risk Populations, and key stakeholders to participate effectively in the promotion and respect of the rights of marginalized persons.This is achieved through workshops and training sessions that empower these groups with the knowledge and skills to protect themselves and advocate for their rights.One of HRAPF’s key strengths is its strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, government, communities, and individuals at national, regional, and international levels.This ensures that HRAPF’s advocacy efforts are heard and supported across the globe.HRAPF’s work is not limited to advocacy and research. The organization also provides legal support and representation to marginalized persons and Most at Risk Populations groups. This is crucial, as many of these groups face discrimination.
