  Located in Kiambu County, JSPS (Jomo School Preparatory School) stands as a beacon of excellence in the field of education. Established in the year 2000 by the late Mrs. Mary W. Mburu, this Christian private school began its journey with humble beginnings, starting as a mixed day and boarding school with just 19 pupils – 18 in the primary section and 1 in the kindergarten section. Despite its modest size, JSPS has consistently strived for greatness and has come a long way since its inception.   In the year 2002, the pioneer class of JSPS successfully completed their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), achieving an impressive mean grade of 362. This early success laid the foundation for the school’s growth and progress. Over the years, JSPS has witnessed a remarkable increase in both size and academic performance.
