Kabale University

Kabale University (KAB) is a public university located on Kikungiri Hill in the beautiful Kabale Municipality of Uganda. Established in 2001 by stakeholders in the Kigezi sub-region, KAB has become a leading institution in the region, offering accessible training and research to contribute to the socio-economic development of Kigezi, Uganda, East Africa, Eastern Africa, and Africa.KAB’s main campus spans 52 hectares (130 acres) of land donated by the Kabale District Administration, providing a serene environment for academic and personal growth. The campus is easily accessible, located just 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) off the Kabale-Katuna/Gatuna Road and approximately 409 kilometres (254 mi) southwest of Kampala, Uganda’s capital and largest city.Kabale University is a true testament to the power of collaboration between stakeholders and the government of Uganda.
