He shared his idea of starting a school with the Ankole King Kahaya II, who summoned all leaders in the kingdom to deliberate on the matter. It was resolved that every civil servant would contribute half of their monthly salary towards the school’s building project.Over the years, Mbarara High School has produced some of the most distinguished alumni in various fields, including politics, academia, medicine, and business.
