Medicare Health Professionals College (MHPC).

Founded in 2002 as a one diploma course school of clinical medicine and community health, MHPC has grown and expanded to offer a range of programs including Laboratory Techniques and Technology, Dental Public Health, Health services management, and Public Health at both certificate and diploma levels.The college is managed by a team of experienced professionals including the Principal, Academic registrar, Dean of students and Administration coordinators, along with teaching staff and support staff to ensure a well-rounded education experience. Students are also encouraged to participate in college activities and have a guild council to represent their interests.One unique aspect of MHPC is that most theory teaching takes place at the college while practical teaching takes place at our partner sites, which include hospitals, health centers, and communities. This hands-on approach ensures that students gain real-world experience and are fully prepared to enter the healthcare workforce upon graduation.Looking to the future, MHPC has plans to open branches upcountry in Uganda and offer additional programs such as Surgery, with the goal of transforming into a University College. With a focus on quality education and training for mid-level health workers, MHPC is a top choice for those seeking a career in healthcare in Uganda.
