Michelangelo College of Creative Arts !

Founded in 1995 by the Bannakaroli Brothers, Michelangelo College is a non-profit vocational art and design institution that is fully registered by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Sports in Uganda, and recognized by the National Council for Higher Education. Its founding principal director, Rev. Bro. Frederick Musaazi of BSCL, is a professional multi-talented artist, sculptor, educationalist, theologian and philosopher.At Michelangelo College, students from diverse multi-national backgrounds are drawn from East and Central Africa, including Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Sudan and Congo. Our courses are designed to create professionally qualified and skilled art and design personnel, who have been at the forefront of contributing to the professionalization of creative arts in the field of practice, teaching and research in Uganda and beyond.We offer formal and informal vocational art and design education and training at both certificates and diplomas, and we are in the process of introducing degree programmes. Our courses are designed to equip our students with skills in vocational entrepreneurship, art research methodologies, marketing and development studies in the art and design industry.At Michelangelo College, we don’t just focus on the theory, we also give our students practical experience, which helps to generate and motivate the spirit of self-reliance and creativeness in the ever-growing, dynamic and vibrant art and design industry.In addition to our practical courses, we have recently initiated a new faculty of ICT, in addition to our existing faculty of Art and Design.
