Mildmay Uganda is a multi-disciplinary general hospital that offers a wide range of healthcare services to the public. The hospital provides surgical, medical, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, psychosocial programs, diagnostics and pharmaceutical services. It is one of the best health facilities in Uganda that offers specialized HIV, paediatric and adolescent health services, palliative care and geriatrics care.The hospital uses a family-centered approach to care and has specialized clinics for non-communicable diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, mental health, elderly care, eye care, sexual reproductive health services, palliative care, dental care, and adolescent-friendly clinics. The hospital’s out-patient departments (OPD) are located in the general clinics at the lower campus, where general clients can access quality and professional care.Mildmay Uganda also has an extended-hours clinic that operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing excellent and affordable maternity services to mothers. The hospital’s laboratory is internationally accredited by SANAS to ISO 15189:2012 and is well-equipped with high-tech automated equipment for a wide range of tests, including bacterial and fungal culture and sensitivity, blood culture and sensitivity, fertility hormones, thyroid function test, coagulation test, semen analysis, tumor markers, and more.The hospital partners with nine insurance schemes to provide health insurance, including Liberty, UAP, IAA resolutions, International Medical Link, Jubilee, Case Medicare, Sancare, Prudential, and AAR. On admission, patients are exposed to comprehensive quality care managed by a multi-disciplinary professional team that ensures a quick recovery.Mildmay Uganda has a teaching and learning environment for students and health worker placement and also conducts research in the hospital.
