Located in Kenya, Mwiki Secondary School has emerged as a beacon of academic excellence and personal development since its establishment on 9th February 2015. Led by the late Mr. Julius Gicheha, an esteemed Chairperson of the interim Board of Management, the school opened its doors to its first group of students, embarking on a journey to shape young minds and empower the next generation.Mwiki Secondary School commenced its operations as a single stream for Form I and Form II students. The inaugural day witnessed the enrollment of 47 eager learners, ready to embark on their educational voyage. Over the years, the institution has grown exponentially, currently offering four streams for students in Form 1 and 2, and three streams for those in Form 3 and 4. With an impressive student body of over 688 individuals, Mwiki Secondary School fosters an inclusive and diverse environment where each student’s unique potential can flourish. The backbone of any exceptional educational institution lies in its teaching staff, and Mwiki Secondary School boasts a team of dedicated educators committed to shaping the minds and futures of their students. Presently, the school is proud to have twenty-seven teachers, seventeen of whom are accredited by the Teachers Service Commission (T.S.C), with an additional eight teachers appointed by the Board of Management (BOM). Furthermore, two interns contribute to the nurturing and development of students, fostering an atmosphere of growth and innovation.Recognizing the importance of a well-rounded education, Mwiki Secondary School also values the contributions of its non-teaching and support staff. A team of ten professionals diligently supports the school’s daily operations, ensuring that the institution runs smoothly and efficiently.
