Nkozi Hospital

Nkozi Hospital is a private not-for-profit hospital that has been serving the community since 1942. The hospital is owned by Kampala Archdiocese and is currently run by the Sisters of Immaculate Heart of Mary Reparatrix. The hospital’s mission is to uplift the health standards of the community, with preference to the most vulnerable ones, through a comprehensive model of high-quality health service delivery.The hospital’s vision is to be a center of excellence for holistic and quality health-care service delivery with Christian values, so that they may have life and have it more abundantly. This vision is reflected in the hospital’s motto, “In God we serve and care.”Nkozi Hospital is accredited by Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau (UCMB) and enjoys good collaboration with the Government of Uganda. The hospital serves as the referral health facility for Mawokota South Health Sub-District, and it has been instrumental in contributing to improved health for the people living in the district.The hospital’s core values include graciousness, ethical conduct, quality assurance, results-oriented, team work, compassion, transparency, and self-motivation.
