The conservancy’s unspoiled natural state ensures unparalleled game-viewing opportunities, and the camp itself, boasting just nine tents and one family unit, guarantees an authentic “away from it all” experience deep in the heart of the African bush. The family unit at Porini Lion Camp is a spacious I-shaped tent located a mere 20 meters from the main areas. Crafted from high-quality canvas, this tent spans an impressive 144 square meters and comprises two rooms with a comfortable lounge nestled in between. Each of the two rooms features a king-size bed and a single bed, offering ample space for families or groups of friends traveling together. Tastefully furnished with a touch of African charm, the tent is equipped with solar-powered lighting, ensuite facilities including a hot shower and flush toilet, and a private veranda that allows you to soak in the breathtaking surroundings. Remarkably, the family unit is priced per person, just like our other tents, making it an enticing choice for those seeking a shared adventure. Additionally, limited laundry services are available at no charge, using a traditional handwashing method and outdoor drying. Please note that in accordance with local culture and customs, underwear is not washed. However, washing powder is provided in all guest rooms, should you wish to take care of your laundry personally.
