The University of Eastern Africa, Baraton (UEAB) is a renowned private coeducational Seventh-day Adventist university located in the scenic town of Baraton, just a short distance from Eldoret in Kenya. Classes began in 1980 in temporary farm structures, which have since been replaced with new and modern buildings.Today, UEAB hosts a local research centre of the Ellen G. White Estate, and faculty and students engage in research in areas such as biological science, agriculture, environmental science, and technology.
