By tapping into the diverse backgrounds of its catchment area, Uzima University has developed vital research networks that seek to customize findings into specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound strategies for the sustainability and development of the region and beyond.Tropical diseases pose a unique challenge to the region, but they also present an opportunity to invest in medical expertise. Uzima University has risen to this challenge by creating erudite and integrated medical personnel who are able to provide timely and relevant responses to the preventive, curative, and management mechanisms of tropical disease and its complications.Uzima University is more than just a medical education institution.
