African Women and Girls Organization for Total Knowledge, Uganda Ltd. (AWAGO) is a remarkable organization that has been transforming the lives of women and girls in Uganda through its programs and activities.As part of the women’s wing of the global organization teaching the Transcendental Meditation® (TM®) technique, AWAGO has been raising the quality of life of every woman and every child in Uganda through the full awakening of Total Knowledge.With over 350 peer-reviewed published research studies demonstrating the effectiveness of the TM technique, AWAGO’s programs have been found to dissolve stress and awaken the total, holistic functioning of the brain for greater intelligence, creativity, learning ability, better health, and better relationships.AWAGO’s programs have a wide range of applications, including education, health, cultural integrity, music, and the arts.AWAGO offers courses in the TM technique and its advanced programs in a variety of settings, including public and private schools, hospitals, maternal health clinics, women’s empowerment groups, women’s leadership organizations, and cultural heritage organizations.AWAGO has also partnered with Uganda Institute of Health, Education and Sustainable Living, a trade name of IMS Uganda Ltd., in mixed gender projects such as EDAPO School and Peace High School.Whether you are a women’s only organization, business, or school, or mixed gender, AWAGO serves the entire population of women and girls in all settings.
