Welcome to Alliance Girls High School, a prestigious institution that has been shaping the lives of young women in Kenya for over seven decades. Steeped in rich history and with a strong Christian tradition, Alliance Girls High School stands tall as the first African Girls High School in Kenya, established for the African girl child by the Scottish Missionaries.The school occupies an impressive 71-acre campus, generously provided by the Presbyterian Church, which has been the sponsor of the institution since its inception.On the momentous day of February 28, 1948, Alliance Girls High School opened its doors to the first batch of ten girls. These pioneers were carefully selected from various provinces across Kenya, establishing a national character that still permeates the school’s atmosphere today. From its earliest days, Alliance Girls High School has aimed to provide a well-rounded education grounded in Christian values. Over the years, Alliance Girls High School has been fortunate to have visionary leaders at its helm.
