ISBAT University

ISBAT University (ISBAT) is a trailblazer in higher education in Uganda. Established in 2005, it began as a post-secondary institution that was affiliated with Sikkim Manipal University of India, but now stands tall as a chartered university in its own right. ISBAT has made remarkable strides in the past decade, most notably in 2013 when it began awarding its own degrees and attained the classification of “Other Degree Awarding Institution” (ODAI). As of May 2019, ISBAT University is associated with UCAM University Spain and with Manipal University Dubai, and is a proud member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), the Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business (AACSB), and the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE). It’s clear that ISBAT is a highly esteemed institution on the global stage. But ISBAT’s impact is not limited to academia. The university takes community social responsibility seriously, as seen in its hosting of a neurosurgery, pediatric cardiology, and oncology medical camp run by physicians and surgeons from Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited in India. This humanitarian gesture provided free consultations to over 200 patients, demonstrating ISBAT’s commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of Ugandans. In summary, ISBAT University is a dynamic institution that has made great strides in providing quality higher education in Uganda.
