Murchison Bay Hospital

Located within the walls of Luzira Maximum Security Prison in the Nakawa Division of Kampala, Murchison Bay Hospital is a unique health facility that serves as the national referral hospital for prisoners in the Uganda Prisons Service. However, in cases where the hospital cannot provide the necessary care, patients are referred to the nearby Mulago National Referral Hospital.
