What’s more, the hospital also serves as the teaching hospital for the Johnass International College of Health Sciences located in the town of Njeru, making it an important hub of medical education in the region.One of the most impressive aspects of St. Charles Lwanga Buikwe Hospital is its commitment to maternal and child health. The hospital attends to over 800 maternal deliveries annually, with a caesarean section rate of 20.7 percent.
